malan: MAle Lineage ANalysis

MAle Lineage ANalysis by simulating genealogies backwards and imposing short tandem repeats (STR) mutations forwards. Intended for forensic Y chromosomal STR (Y-STR) haplotype analyses. Numerous analyses are possible, e.g. number of matches and meiotic distance to matches.
