• saveMedia - saves the given media for the given transcript.
• deleteMedia - deletes media or episode document files.

New, more flexible upload API functions, which allow finely-grained control of how transcript files are processed by LaBB-CAT:

• transcriptUpload - start upload process by sending files to the server.
• transcriptUploadParameters - complete the upload process by setting upload parameters.
• transcriptUploadDelete - abandon a previously started upload process.

In some annotation layers, the annotations have not only a textual label, but also binary data associated with it; e.g. an image or a data file. In these cases, the ‘type’ of the layer is a MIME type, e.g. ‘image/png’. The following functions provide access to that data:

• getMatchingAnnotationData - Gets binary data for annotations that match a particular pattern.
• getFragmentAnnotationData - Gets binary annotation data in fragments.

Enhancements

• getMatches supports matching within-word segment context by allowing more than one pattern on segment layers, and anchoring segments to word boundaries.

Enhancements

• getMatches replaces participant.ids and transcript.types parameters with participant.expression and transcript.expression parameters, in line with the underlying API, and allowing more flexibility with queries.
• getMatches parameter aligned is now deprecated, please set anchor.confidence.min = 50 instead
• getMatches parameter anchor.confidence.min now filters out results, instead of just returning NA for offsets below the minumum confidence. To return all results and offsets, regardless of confidence, set anchor.confidence.min = 0.
• processWithPraat’s window.offset parameter no longer has a default value, and includes more thorough documentation, to ensure callers are aware of the parameter’s implications.
