• Various datasets handled by the package have been updated to the latest version in September 2026. Stations that are no longer in operation have been removed from stations, so their block_no can no longer be passed to jma_collect().

Fixes

• jma_collect(cache = TRUE) no longer fails when the cache directory does not exist, such as on a fresh install or after reset_cache() (#26).
• jma_collect() now validates block_no against the stations dataset instead of a fixed numeric range. Newly added stations are accepted, and retired stations fail early with a clear error instead of producing an empty URL (#32).
• Added inst/CITATION so citation("jmastats") points to the CRAN page, and the README citation is now generated from it instead of being hard-coded (#29).
