Epi package for epidemiological analysis in R

• The Epi package is mainly focused on "classical" chronic disease epidemiology.
• The package has grown out of the course Statistical Practice in Epidemiology using R. It is available from the R homepage.
  Alternatively, you can from a running R session on a computer on the net just type:
  > install.packages( "Epi" )
  
• The latest version of Epi on CRAN is 0.2 (real soon 0.4).
• The latest version (0.4) is here as zip file for Windows and tar file. This should be the final version, but not quite official yet.
  The next official version on CRAN will be 0.4.
• A mailing list has been set up, click here to join.
• Epi is not the only R-package for epidemiological analysis, a package with more affinity to infectious disease epidemiology is the epitools package. The hompage for this contains many relevant links.
